Holy crap, this is actually going to be a bit of a challenge. Luckily most of my purchases are digital and everything goes into the Calibre database so…
**[In the Margins]([https://jimmyshelter.itch.io/in-the-margins](https://jimmyshelter.itch.io/in-the-margins "https://jimmyshelter.itch.io/in-the-margins"))**
I'm PRETTY sure I actually donated money for that, even though it's PWYW. The idea of an RPG that fits on a bookmark was too good to pass up and too good not to reward. Besides, what classics geek doesn't like marginalia?
It's shockingly hard to actually nail down exactly what the first thing I PURCHASED this year was. Some things were purchased at the end of last year and only had a PDF delivery early on and some things are clearly not RPGs.
Apparently January was a thin month for releases.
There was a release in January that wasn't purchased in January that is probably worth noting:
**[Gubat Banwa]([https://makapatag.itch.io/gubat-banwa](https://makapatag.itch.io/gubat-banwa "https://makapatag.itch.io/gubat-banwa"))**
I do love settings which are unusual and Southeast Asia is pretty unusual when you go hard. Besides, who can resist this pitch?
> Violence for violence’s sake is not the rule of beasts but the nature of divinity.
Not me.
