![[Siege Perilous Kickstarter Arrives.webp]]
Sometimes you just take pleasure in the fact that a Kickstarter finally gets to you. And I've been waiting for **[[Siege Perilous]]** for quite a while. In fact, somehow it was stuck in limbo for a little bit on its way to me, according to the UPS tracking system.
Where it was, how it fell out of the world and how it returned back to the place it should have been the whole time? An excellent question indeed! Perhaps we shall never know its story. But I do have the hardback here in my hand, and that is no small thing. Yes, I did get the tarot deck with it because that's what we all need: at least one more tarot deck, right?
The quality is quite nice. The cover is very solid, and the cards feel good in the hand. They did not scrimp on the quality of the materials. As I've said elsewhere, the quality of the layout may be a little bit less impressive. The art is really good, but the actual layout is a little bit of a mess.
If you're interested in reading a full walkthrough of character creation and my further thoughts on the game at that point, *[[Character Creation Challenge 2025 - Day 04 - Siege Perilous|Siege Perilous has been part of the Character Creation Challenge 2025]]* and is one of the better entries that I've written, I must say. Check that out. See if this is something that you would like to get your hands on, and I'm sure there are more copies awaiting your pleasure.
