You are a spaceborne hero sworn to undertake perilous quests, exploring uncharted space, unraveling the secrets of a mysterious galaxy, and building bonds with those you meet on your travels. Experience with Ironsworn isn't required to play, but if you've played it, you'll feel right at home — **Starforged** builds directly on Ironsworn's award-winning innovations. The core is the same **Ironsworn action roll**: roll an **action die (1d6)** and two **challenge dice (2d10)**, add your stat and bonuses, and compare your action score to each challenge die individually — beat both for a **strong hit**, beat one for a **weak hit**, beat neither for a **miss** — with **progress tracks** and a vast array of **oracle tables** for on-the-fly discovery of spaceborne locations, planets, settlements, people, creatures, starships, foreboding derelicts, and ancient alien vaults.
