The Great Vow keeps dragons from solving every fight by force — unless a rider is willing to break it, which is the hobby's way of making the moral choice the crunchy one too. The core resolution is a **d6 dice pool** built from two Attributes of the Herald's choice (single-attribute checks roll double the attribute). Each **5 counts as 1 success, each 6 as 2**, and you compare successes against a Difficulty (Dx) for targeted checks or a freeform "more is better" roll otherwise.
