**Agon: Additional Islands** is exactly what it says on the label — a fistful of ready-made islands for **[[Agon]]**, each a self-contained single-session adventure written by a different guest author, each following the same rhythm the core book sets: arrive, meet the strife, chase the mysteries, settle the island's fate in a closing contest. It's the answer to "sure, the book gives me a few islands, but what if I want more?" — more islands, more gods, more ways to keep the heroes lost at sea.
## Setting
The islands are the draw, and they come with genuine variety in voice. **Agrios** (Jeeyon Shim) strands the heroes on Hekate's guarded play-ground of cypress forests where a funeral rite has gone catastrophically wrong; other contributors — Ben Scerri, Whitney Delaglio, Kira Magrann, James Mendez Hodes, Stras Acimovic, Misha Bushyager, Allison Arth — each bring their own mythic corner to the mist. Each island opens with its own hook: a sign of the gods, an arrival scene that throws the heroes straight into crisis, a web of **trials** and **mysteries** to untangle, and the contests that carry the danger — pitched at the familiar Perilous and Mythic difficulties, with the gods offering their standard divine boons.
## Mechanics
Mechanically it's pure **[[Agon]]**: every island is laid out as a run of Domain-flavored contests (Arts & Oration vs. a furious priestess, Craft & Reason vs. the waves of Poseidon, Resolve & Spirit vs. an impatient Charon), each with its opponent's dice pool specified. It adds no new rules — just more places to point the ones you already have, and a reminder that a single island's worth of strife can carry a whole session with almost no prep.
## Editions
A single collection of islands by multiple authors, published for Agon 2e. *In the library.*
