# RPG a Day 2023 - Day 21: Favorite Licensed RPG *Created:* 2023-08-20, *Modified:* 2023-12-01 ![[RPGaDay2023.png]] I'm not a big licensed property fan, by and large. At least when it comes to media properties. I generally prefer games which are creatively unique and go off in their own direction. That out of the way, I think right now that answer is [[Aliens]] purely because it couples mechanics which are surprisingly on point in terms of mood with an absolutely excellent sourcebook. If you're going to buy a licensed property, buy it for the sourcebook.
