# RPG a Day 2023 - Day 2: First RPG Gamemaster *Created:* 2023-08-07, *Modified:* 2023-12-01 ![[RPGaDay2023.png]] The first game I ever GM'd was, perversely, [[Call of Cthulhu]]. Back in high school. Unlike most, apparently, I didn't start with [[Dungeons and Dragons|D&D]] – and never in fact found it a compelling game. Unfortunately, the mechanics of COC were a bloody mess, even then and my friends being who they were, we rapidly moved on to [[Robotech]] I still have those books. All of them.
